Rockefeller Atlas Ball

Few global sporting events command the attention of the FIFA World Cup, and in 2026, Rockefeller Center became one of New York City's premier fan destinations. As the official home of the NY/NJ World Cup 26 & Telemundo Fan Village, the iconic plaza welcomed thousands of fans for free public watch parties, interactive activations, official merchandise, and the immersive FIFA Museum exhibition, “Legacies of Champions."

To mark the occasion, Rockefeller Center's legendary Atlas statue held a giant inflatable replica of the official Adidas TRIONDA Final Match Ball, creating a striking visual centerpiece that celebrated the tournament while capturing the attention of fans and media alike.

While an inflatable soccer ball may appear to be a simple project, successful installations often come down to precise engineering. Working with our agency partners 55/50 Productions our team carefully designed and positioned the ball's anchor points so they aligned perfectly with Atlas's globe, ensuring a clean, natural-looking installation that appeared as though the statue had always been holding the match ball.

Projects like this demonstrate why custom inflatables have become a powerful tool for experiential marketing. Whether suspended above a convention floor, integrated with an existing landmark, or serving as a larger-than-life photo opportunity, giant inflatables create memorable brand moments that attract attention, encourage social sharing, and leave a lasting impression on attendees.

At Bigger Than Life, we specialize in transforming creative concepts into engineered inflatable installations that elevate fan experiences and help brands stand out on the world's biggest stages.
